Porter Oncology Services Campus

This campus was created to offer advanced treatments for patients who have cancer. Porter’s Oncology Services program uses the latest diagnostic imaging technology to detect the presence of cancer, PET/CT, stereotactic breast biopsy, CT Scan, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), mammography and ultrasound. Porter has offered stereotactic breast biopsy since 1994, longer than any other hospital in Northwest Indiana. Porter also offers some of the most advanced methods available for the treatment of cancer, such as linear acceleration, which provides pinpoint accuracy in radiation treatment, and brachytherapy, an innovative treatment radiation is delivered to the tumor site through a sealed isotope placed inside the body.
