Porter Valparaiso Hospital Campus

As the acute-care hub of the Porter health care system, this 200-plus bed facility is located adjacent to Valparaiso University just blocks from the downtown Valparaiso shopping district in Northwest Indiana.

 The Valparaiso Hospital Campus offers a continuum of specialized services, such as emergency/trauma (including ALS ambulance services), cardiology, family medicine, surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, orthopedics, oncology, physical rehabilitation, a joint replacement center, advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities, the Center for Heart Rhythm Disorders and Porter's Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center.

Directions to Porter’s Valparaiso Hospital Campus

From O'Hare International Airport, Chicago:
Take I-190 to I-90 (the John F. Kennedy Expressway). Stay on I-90 East through downtown Chicago. Proceed south approximately seven miles south of the Loop. Take the Skyway (which is still I-90), where there will be a $2 toll fee. The Skyway becomes the Indiana Toll Road. Take the Toll Road to the Chesterton/Valparaiso exit (Indiana 49, exit 31). Take Indiana 49 south to the LaPorte/Valparaiso exit (Indiana 2). Turn right on Indiana 2 and follow the blue hospital signs to Porter.

From Midway Airport, Chicago:
Go south on West Airport Drive by turning right. Turn right onto South Cicero Avenue/IL-50. Take the I-55 North ramp. Follow I-55 to the I-90 West/Dan Ryan Expressway/I-94 exit (exit 292A). Take the I-90W/Ryan Expy/I-94 W exit toward Wisconsin. Merge onto I-90 West. Proceed south approximately seven miles south of the Loop. Take the Skyway (which is still I-90), where there will be a $2 toll fee. The Skyway becomes the Indiana Toll Road. Take the Toll Road to the Chesterton/Valparaiso exit (Indiana 49, exit 31). Take Indiana 49 south to the LaPorte/Valparaiso exit (Indiana 2). Turn right on Indiana 2 and follow the blue hospital signs to the hospital.

Parking
Our parking garage is located across from the main entrance of the hospital as well as on the north side of LaPorte Avenue. Although the garage can be seen from Lincolnway, the entrance can be accessed only from LaPorte Avenue.
