Community Health Nurse now at the
Valparaiso Family YMCA and Duneland Family YMCA
We are very excited that we now have a Community Health Nurse at both the Valparaiso and Duneland Family YMCA's. Laurie Wehner-Evans, RN, MSN and Steve Beach, RN, BSN provide health care assessments, referrals, resources and education to YMCA members.
Laurie and Steve provide health information and health fairs for members, staff, families and the community on various health topics, provides leadership to coordinated health programs and serve as a liaisons between YMCA personnel, family, community, and health care providers.
