Designated as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, Porter Hospital has been awarded the Gold Seal of Approval for stroke care which means patients can be assured that Porter’s program complies with national standards regarding stroke diagnosis, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation, with the ultimate goal of reducing the time between stroke onset and treatment.
