Porter's Labs perform nearly 1 million procedures each year. The menu of lab tests numbers about 900 and includes blood bank services. All blood and blood products are made available through the American Red Cross. Limited testing and complete phlebotomy services are performed on site at the various satellite labs.  

Porter’s Laboratories have earned state and national recognition for the services they provide. The Laboratory is overseen by board-certified Clinical Pathologists, and staffed by 100 associates, including Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technologists, Medical Assistants, Histologists and Microbiologists, who are certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology. The health system's Laboratories are fully accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks, the Indiana State Department of Health, and the Joint Commission.
