Money Raised for March of Dimes Walk Porter’s walking teams raised $5,063.		Thirty six Porter associates and their families recently participated in the March for Babies Walk in Valparaiso. Clad in their new Porter green T-shirts, Porter’s group definitely made an impact as they helped increase awareness at this annual fund-raising event that provides funds for research and benefits to assist mothers to have healthy, fullterm pregnancies.

Porter Partners with area YMCA's to Promote Wellness An expanded roster of wellness and community education programs hosted by Porter Health System are providing residents of Porter County with additional health opportunities close to home. Porter has placed Community Health Nurses at the Duneland and Valparaiso YMCA's. The Community Health Nurses are available to answer your health and wellness questions and provide screenings and referrals for health conditions.

United Way Donations Surpass Porter’s Goal We are pleased to announce that through our Associates generous 2011 United Way donations we have exceeded Porter’s goal of $30,000, with a campaign total of $36,579.93.
